Distributed and developed by Adobe Systems Incorporated, Adobe Photoshop is a marvelous graphics editing program. It is released in two editions Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Photoshop Extended. Adobe Photoshop Express was released in 2008, and the different thing about it was that photos on blogs and social networking sites could be edited directly. Three years later, in 2011 a version for Android operating system and iPhone was released. Both Windows and Macintosh support adobe Photoshop.

Adobe Photoshop CS5 is the 12th major release of Adobe Photoshop. Automatic correction of lens saves your time and automatically makes precise adjustments based on the type of the camera or the lens that you used. Industry-leading correction tools such as HDR Toning and superior HDR imaging are used to control color and tone of images. It is both very facilitative and amusing. The HDR Toning feature enables one to give a single-exposure picture a wildly surreal look of an HDR image.
Photoshop allows you to process your images professionally using Photoshop Camera Raw 6. You can process images of the format JPEG, TIFF and PNG. You can edit images by selecting the specific area and can add or remove background, color or image elements. Or you can combine a range of different images with different colors, background and blend them without even disturbing their tones and colors. Beside these, there are various other editing tools in Photoshop that give your photos a professional tinct.

Other time saving features include the conversion of a 16-bit image files o 8-bit JPEG files so that you can easily save them. Also you can set a preference that makes sure that all the open images would be saved to the folder to which the last file was saved. It also supports video file formats such as 3G, FLC, AVI, DV and FLV. It also permits you to create wallpapers and screensavers for your mobile and preview it using built-in Adobe Device Central.

Adobe has also launched a few applications for iPad, iPhone and Android operating system. Adobe ColorLava is an application for iPad that lets you create color themes. Similarly, Adobe Eazel painting is also an app for iPad using which you can paint with your fingertips by mixing wet and dry colors.
