Awesome Features on the Android Operating System

The Android operating system, initially designed by Android, Inc., is an interactive new software which has led to the development of tablet computers and smartphones. The technology was purchased by Google in 2005 and was first unveiled in 2007. Since then it is responsible for the continuous advancement of digital hardware and open standards for mobile devices. The great thing about android is that its interface is based on direct manipulations which can be done with the help of touch inputs like tapping, pinching, sliding or swiping, and it works pretty much like a regular computer. We all love the iPhone, but the iOS operating system cannot be tweaked or hacked the same way an android phone can. Here are some great examples of what an android can do.

ANDROID VIDEO PLAYER
Every smartphone should have a capable multimedia. When you say capable you are think of three very important aspects: a clean and attractive interface, large media support and good video and audio capabilities. Luckily the android video player market is not limited, and there are a quite a few software which meet these conditions. The QQPlayer, the Meridian and MvideoPlayer are very appreciated due to several reasons. The Meridian player for example has a neat interface and is capable of defining gestures for each function. The mVideoPlayer has excellent filtering capabilities, an option for IMDB search and a button for adjusting the screen brightness. Last but not least, the QQPlayer is the leading product when it comes to the video formats supported. It has a very simple interface and the video quality is above average.

TRUE APPĀ  INTEGRATION
The true app integration is an exclusive feature of the android. Of course, the iPhone has Google Voice, but you cannot compare it with the android voice control software. The problem with Google Voice is that it usually redirects to the default dialer, which means you have to navigate it manually. On the android, the voice control app has been built on top of a Voice-Recognizer and Text-To-Speech hands-free feature in order to make it fully controllable by voice. Also, on android, apps like Google Voice are directly integrated in your operating system, and when you click on a phone number in your browser, you will be redirected through it. This feature makes texting and voicemailing very comfortable.

All in all the android is a very capable operating system, which can do things others just can’t. The True app integration system is an example, but there are many others like the pull-down notifications and the free turn-by-turn navigation to be mentioned.
