Samsung Galaxy Note Specs and Features

| January 1, 2012

The Galaxy Note by Samsung, not a device to be overlooked by Samsung and gadget lovers. A perfect duo of a smart phone (Samsung Galaxy S II) and a tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab), Samsung Galaxy Note is ‘the slate’ to watch out for.

The Samsung Note has pioneered one if it’s own niche. It is basically an attempt to fulfill the gap between a smart phone and a tablet. The Galaxy Note by Samsung however has received mixed reviews on its size. The 5.3 inch screen has been perceived as an unusual screen size for a smart phone and it being difficult to carry in a regular pocket. Also, some point out that the 5.3 inch screen also feels unusual resting on face while sending or receiving calls.

On the other hand, Samsung’s Galaxy Note is built with plastic and has a metal rim. Galaxy Note’s front side is built from glass, and that too not a regular glass. There is just one physical home button on the front panel as seen on most of the smart phones like Apple’s iPhone etc.

Overall, the Galaxy Note has a dual core 1.4 GHz processor, 8 Megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, GPS and all the latest gadgetry seen in other smart phones these days.
